Tanken var att använda hjulen till rullskidor vid tävlingar med regn. Men efter att ha åkt så tycker jag de är för långsamma. Det blir till att åka försiktigt med de snabba rullskidhjulen. Men dessa hjul är istället superbra i kallt väder. Snabbare än standardhjul och går inte så trögt i temperatur 0 - +5 som vanliga rullskidhjul. | |

Got these as my usual wheels were very slippery in the wet. These are a definite improvement, but still nothing like skating in the dry. Also, if the ground is mossy or slimy then these still slip badly, as you would expect. Seem to roll a bit slower than my normal 85a wheels, but I'll be using them until the weather gets a bit drier. | |

They are really good! With my old wheels I could not even try to get out after raining. These have a much better grip. You still have to be a bit careful but they will let you skate around :) | |

Uk is so wet in winter & wanted more grip, this did the trick. The compound is a pu & metal powder mix by the look of it with slightly flatter bottom. Perfect for days when it is a bit damp and grip would normally be a bit sketchy. | |

Got these to keep me going through this winter. I also live in Great Britain, so rain is regularly an issue. The difference between these and a generic dry-weather wheel is massive, though not absolute. They do very well on wet or even soaking ground, and are wearing slowly - good news for a skater on a budget or anyone put off by the comparatively higher price of these! However, on ice, moss, wet metal, etc - one will likely come unstuck. 'Wet skating' - which Torrent wheels enable - necessitates changing one's movements accordingly to try and maximise stability and thus safety (think shorter strides, shallower turns, and generally more upright). The bottom line is that if you don't want your flow to be grounded when it's wet; buy these wheels. I've learned to skate backwards this winter, and it was on these wheels that I did it. I owe my thanks to Powerslide, SkatePro, and all the scientists, engineers, and fellow skaters who made this fantastic innovation possible! | |
